ジュゼッペ コルテーゼは、バルバレスコ(Barbaresco)のラバヤ(Rabajá) の最も歴史の深い中核に位置し、8ヘクタールの畑から、限定数量の高品質のワインを生産しています。南西に向いた土地は、よい土壌とブドウの成熟に最適な環境で、ここで生産される高品質のワインの性質を作り出しています。

 

バルバレスコのラバヤは、イタリアでも最も大切なワインの1つで、力強く、しかしながら極めて優美な香りをもち、エイジングがすすむごとに、スパイス、ココア、タバコのノートがでてきます。ドライでフルボディー、力強く芳醇でハーモニーのとれた味わいで、色は赤、ガーネットというのが特徴です。

 

イタリアの偉大なクリュとされるランゲ地方のバルバレスコの伝統的な生産地域ラバヤの中で、ジュゼッペ コルテーゼはBIOワイン生産者のユニオン、「BIOTIPICO」のメンバーです。より自然で健全なブドウをつくるために、バイオミネラル農法（堆肥よりも、貝殻、骨、甲殻類の外骨格が肥料）を採用していて、こだわりの職人ならではの確かな品質は、ここで生産されているすべてのワインに当てはまります。

 

ジュゼッペコルテーゼは、その歴史深いラバヤで少量生産で品質にこだわり、またワインの伝統製法を守りながら、アロマを大事に製造しています。バルバレスコの熟成はスラボニアオークの大樽で行い、エレガントでテロワール(土壌)の個性を活かしつつ、同時に長期熟成に耐えうる偉大なピエモンテのワインの女王「バルバレスコ」の名にふさわしい、最高品質で香り豊かなワインを生産しています。

 

さらにジュゼッペのRiservaは、40カ月間スラボニアオークとフレンチオークで熟成し、さらに3年間のボトル熟成し、出荷まで7年をかけるワインです。2001年は「当たり年」とされていて、なおかつ飲みごろの10年目を迎えた最高の1本です。ジュゼッペのすべてのワインは、毎年世界中の数々の品評会でも好成績を残しています。

Giuseppe Cortese - Barbaresco

 

From its 8 hectares of vineyards located in the middle of “Rabajá,” a historical cru in the Barbaresco area, the small producer of high quality wines in Barbaresco, Giuseppe Cortese, vinifies and produces exclusively from estate-grown grapes.

 

The Rabajá cru enjoyes southwesterly exposre and the very best in terms of microclimate,soil and ripening, creating a product which comprises all the characteristics of a great wine.

Azienda Agricola Cortese wines are produced according to winemaking tradition using the latest technology: wines aged in Slavonian and Allier oak, wines stored in the underground cellars at perfectly suitable temperatures in order to maintain the aroma and the taste that characterize top quality products.

 

Barbaresco Rabajá is our most important wine and has an intense and ethereal perfume with fresh notes that evolve into scents of spices, cocoa and tobacco as it ages.  A dry, full and robust flavor with a rich and harmonious structure: garnet red colour.
